H why do that whn u can buy a commodore 64 and never get a virus Laughing

I had the same trouble a while ago, I reformatted and went back to 32 bit xp apparently CDC is very picky as to what it will run on. However apparently they have fixed it? Check out this link http://www.teamwarfare.com/forums/showth...orumid=117 but I don't know if u are already using that version of CDC.

RE: CDC
you've gotta run everything as administrator from memory? even teamspeak otherwise it wont capture your push to talk key.

RE: CDC
Administrator under Vista is the only sensible path to take. Everything else that runs that may write to, or change a system file, or want to access the more basic system services, requires Administrator rights. Very not safe in the virus world.

RE: CDC
i put this on our forums so i thought id share it

Its gotten very hard to install so..heres how to install it

Step one: download and install this http://www.teamwarfare.com/files/dl/AA/F...1-6-52.zip

Step two FOR VISTA ONLY: download and place in ur cdc program files and overwrite the ones tht are already in there http://www.teamwarfare.com/files/dl/AA/CDC4Vista64.zip

Step three: Delete AAloader.exe found hereC:\Program Files\America's Army\System
note you will need to make a new shortcut to C:\Program Files\America's Army\System\ArmyOps.exe to load the game

Step four: download http://www.teamwarfare.com/files/dl/AA/distribution.exeand place in C:\Program Files\America's Army\System and leave it there

Step four: download http://www.teamwarfare.com/files/dl/AA/AAOCleaner.exe and place in C:\Program Files\America's Army then run it
Note: AAOCleaner will ask you if u want to delete some files...u do not have to delete these but u can if u want..there is no consequences

Step five: once you have run AAOCleaner.exe sucessfully delete it.

Step six: Update Punkbuster

NOTE VISTA PEOPLE WILL NEED TO RUN CDC AS AN ADMINISTRATOR

any problems ask us on ts

RE: CDC
It hasn't been too bad actually chooka, the worst part of aa with vista is the stupid auto update which I have now turned off. Apart from that AA has been running pretty sweet in Vista, though ask me in about 3 months time, coz I'm still not a big fan of Vista. lol Thumbs Up!
